It snowed here like crazy today! Apparently, it is pretty rare to get snow especially in these quantities here in the valley. The neighbors sent this picture to us of our house from their vantage point.
Looks so nice and cozy amidst the piles of snow, eh?
Here's our oldest with 'Frosty'. He helped me build him. This was his first snowman because the snow back home is usually very cold and dry and hard to form, but it was very wet and great for building snowmen today!
It was snowing hard all day, so you would just get covered with snow standing there.
CJ had nothing to do with building Frosty, but he sacrificed his hat. At dinner he cried and asked if he could have his hat back for tomorrow :) Sure, Frosty doesn't really need it.
This one's for Brin. These are the neighbors' palm trees, partially covered in snow.

Piper wasn't too sure about Frosty. Good thing he didn't come to life and start singing, or he'd really been scarred for life.

We did some sledding, too, but I didn't get any pictures of it.
This is my first try at posting a video and I clipped it rather short. But you get the idea.
I did go out and help him shovel later in the day and we cleared the drive together. It was very wet and heavy, that is why he is struggling with the load - but he didn't give up!

We still have the lower 3rd of the first snowman I think our children have ever built! We had a good wet snow a couple weeks ago! Go figure, the first year you are gone!
I miss you guys so much! I can't believe how much the boys have grown since we saw you last. What a little trooper out there shoveling snow! And by the way - nice snowman, the hat thing is adorable :)

Bless you guys! And thank you! Katie looks good :o) Her foot is all better, however I don't think she got the last round of oral antibiotics. I brought her one of Phillip's old sleping bags over Christmas and she loves it. Glad your washing machine will accomodate it....as I may need to get Katie something for her older lady bladder problem. The black kitten is missing litter manners as well. Mamma Cat has been sick lately and favoring one eye. I love Ethan's galsses :o) I'll send your mail....as soon as I get it :O) Sounds like the neighbors haven't been over to visit Justin and Corie much. More later! And I think about you every day!
