The boys couldn't wait to see the Eiffel Tower, so we went there first.

Notice the wayward child not looking at the camera... is Kevin :)

On the 'second floor' about 1/2 way up the Eiffel Tower.

It was much colder than it looks!

This is my favorite family pic for the day.

This is my favorite family pic for the day.

The inverted pyramid outside the Louvre entrance in the underground mall.

Arc de Triomphe du Carroussel, next to the Louvre. A smaller arch built by Napoleon around the same time as the popular Arc de Triomphe at the western end of the Champs-Élysées.

In front of the Louvre Museum.

The Obelisk in the Place de la Concorde.

A few pictures taken while walking down the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
We stopped in the Disney store and got yelled at for taking this picture. How dare we snap a photo in a kids' retail store!

All too common sight we've been seeing here in our area as well.

The Arc de Triomphe, commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 after the victory at Austerlitz.

tired

laughing, at least in this pic

happy

Closer look at the Arc de Triomphe.

view along the Seine River.

The Sainte Chapelle, the Gothic palatine chapel in the courtyard of the royal palace on the Île de la Cité.

This is the worst family picture ever, but I just thought it was too funny not to post.
We obviously don't discriminate enough over who we hand our camera over to. I'll have to start dragging a tripod along... ok, maybe not. Good for a laugh - the candid family shot.

This is all we saw of the Louvre, we decided to pass on walking through with the boys.

Boys looking in the fountain in the Jardin des Tuileries.

I must say we were also disappointed that the Champs-Élysées was lined with American retail stores. I don't remember this being the case when I was here last, but it's been 13 years! We had to get off the main drag to find small Parisian boutiques.

I love how it looks like it is not real in this picture.

Loving the family pics! How tall is E-man now! Wow, he looks so big! My favorite pic is the one of the 3 boys. Glad you guys had a good time.
My favorite pic is the one of your biggest baby (Kevin) not looking at the camera. -h.p.
