ICG Retreat

Last weekend was the ICG's Annual Retreat. The ICG, or International Church of Grenoble is the English speaking church we attend here in Grenoble.
The retreat center was in the Bauges mountain range, between Chambéry, Annecy and Albertville. It was a lovely location in the mountains, about 1000m elevation.

L'Eterlou, the retreat center.

It was rainy on and off all weekend, so we didn't get a chance to do any hiking in between sessions. They did have an indoor pool, which was very fun for all the kids.
Here's a few pics of the boys (including Kevin) having fun!

It was a lovely location, the only distraction being these cows and their bells :)

A view of the Bauges mountains on our way home after the retreat.

It was a great weekend away spent with wonderful friends. It was nice to have a chance to connect with the people from our church in an informal setting and spend some time in prayer without the normal distractions of life.
