Autumn has Come

Anniversary dinner at l'Auguste. Fantastic.

Autumn in the alps. Priceless.

This probably makes up for all the tractor and combine rides we are missing back home. We pray for a safe and bountiful harvest!
Update:
For those of you who have been praying for me, thank you! I finally went to see a French doctor, which is a story in itself. He gave me some antibiotics and I'm hopeful as now I can actually smell again, which is both good and bad. At least Piper is getting changed more quickly :)
Speaking of Piper, I decided to try a different strategy when shopping with him today. I bought him a milkshake before going in and he happily drank about 1/2 of it, gave it to me and was happy the rest of the time. He was the 'perfect' little boy, giggling and talking and smiling. So yes, I have resorted to bribing, and it works!

We are going to Jamaica for our anniversary! The entire 8 of us. :) Chad's brother's family are missionaries at a deaf school. We will be gone for 17 days.
