Of course, there is nothing better than going in to check on your kids at night when they are sleeping peacefully... unless they are snuggled up together and happily snoozing!

Our oldest turned 7 in April! We had his birthday party with friends from school last Sat, 16 May. It was a very nice May day with lots of sunshine, so we were able to have the party outside in our 'garden'.
I'm such a cheater on cakes. I misplaced my Lightning McQueen cake pan in the move, so this was my easy way to making a Lightning McQueen cake - buy a car and put it on the cake!

Happy Birthday, dear sweet boy. We love you and are so very proud of you and the wonderful way you have transitioned into the French schools and made friends here. We can't wait to see what the next few years hold for you!

Is he really that old? I remember where I was when I heard that he was born. It doesn't seem like it could be that long ago!
The pictures of all the boys are so precious. I know August is still a ways away - but I'm getting so excited to see you all and to hug those adorable boys!
