I did capture the boys having a fun game of 'Sorry' with Grandma Klaus. I don't know who was having more fun...

I love this one of my oldest in the woes of defeat...

but wait...

that's better!

That's the thing about Sorry. One minute you're losing, the next you're winning and vice versa. It's anyone's game. And it's one that we play over and over and over.. and over and over... So thanks, Grandma, for playing with my boys! You definitely take the time to make them feel loved!
Here's Piper hanging out at Rick and Beth's...

while the other kids are having a mud pie making contest.

Or something like that. I'm not really sure what the point was, but it was fun to see the boys step in and have fun playing with Rick and Beth's girls like we've never left. They really loved playing with their friends while we were together.
Rick and Beth were great hosts and had all kinds of fun things planned for us while we were in Tremont. They had people over at their house, we went to other people's houses and we went out for dinner at some of our favorite spots that we miss.

Contrary to these photos, us women did not hang out posing in the kitchen while the guys had fun in the dining room. We just know where to find the dessert!
It was fun to catch up with Steve and Di and Matt and Paula...and many other friends we saw but didn't take pictures. We really do miss our friends in Tremont. The cold and rain, not so much - it's been a record wet fall there and the farmers are still trying to get the crops in - you can definitely pray for them. But our friends are priceless. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to meet up with us while we were in town! And special thanks to Rick and Beth for being such wonderful hosts and social calendar planners! We miss you all.
