Part 4 - Florida

While Kevin was planting a large magnitude of trees by hand, I went with Beth to Florida to visit Suzanne. I think I really did get the better end of this deal, but Kevin is still happy with his choice. I took CJ along with me since we both know it was a stretch of the imagination to assume Kevin was actually watching the other two at BFL. Three would have been certain disaster!

We flew down on Thursday and just spent the evening catching up. On Friday, we drove up to St. Augustine and checked out the Spanish fort there.

The really sweet part was that they had a canon demonstration and fired one of the canons on the wall. It was one of the little ones and they didn't load it, but it was still really cool!

We spent the rest of the afternoon swimming at Suzanne and Micah's place. A couple pictures of their sweet kiddos...

This is their baby boy, a few days short of turning one year old!

Then on Saturday we went to the beach - Daytona beach to be exact. It's just about 15 minutes away from their house (I know, I try not to envy them too).

We had a wonderful time in Florida. The weather was perfect and the company was great :) Thanks for being a great host, Suzanne, and for taking us out for good food and fun girl times!
