It was really cold that weekend, so we decided we better not try and camp out with so many little ones. So these are a few pictures of my boys loving on their little cousin, Eric and Karmen's sweet little girl, in the hotel that night.

I can hardly take it...

so adorable!
The next day was lovely and we spent the day out at BFL.

Kevin and CJ going out in the canoe to do some fishing.

Eric giving rides on the Ventrac.

Kevin planting trees. I think he planted around 500? or something crazy like that trees while we were back. He took another trip and spent 4 days planting trees and taking care of things at the lake while I went to Florida, but more on that later.

Eric giving his daughter her first Ventrac ride. This was Piper's thousandth ride or so. He even has his own special add-on bar to keep him on the fender thanks to Grandpa :)

Our oldest was thrilled to be able to drive the 4 wheelers himself. I have to admit he's a very careful and good driver. But then I'm back to the 'he's growing up way too fast' thing... sniff...
A few shots of the boys at the lake.

I've been enjoying your pics & writings so much, thinking back to the good times we just had w/ you all & missing you much.
Where does the double-wide trailer go? Or would the taxes be better on a big camper? Or even better, how about a big 1970s houseboat? No taxes at all! Kids would love it!

It looks like Kevin needs to get with it and buy a few 4 wheelers rather than borrow and haul them from OH. miller
uh, yeah, thanks miller. Your input is exactly what we need.
I guess the 'hoe isn't exactly his most recent acquisition after all...maybe you should tell Kevin you can 'store' some 4 wheelers for him in Tremont?!
Where is the truck and trailer to haul that hoe? Or is Kevin putting up a big shed for it? he will need it for the 4 wheelers also. Just trying to be an encouragement. Miller
good thing Kevin bought the hoe... now you all can put in the much-needed runway for your airplane.
Yes, a big shed, thanks Barnabas... where we can also store the floatplane (and put in sleeping quarters above - low taxes on a shed!).
Why build a runway when you have 1/2 mile of water, or does an ex navy boy need more room than that to land her on water?
Let me know when it's time to raise the shed!! You will need all hands to house the boat, plane, hoe, truck, trailer, 4wheels and the bunks!
The blog is great - I can travel Europe and never leave home!
Thanks!
Scott
