A Day at the Beach

Monday was a warmer and sunny day, so we spent some time in the pool at our villa...

well, the boys did. It was too cold for me to want to get in. This is how the boys looked any time they got out of the pool ;)

We were also able to skype with Mom and Dad Steiner. Maybe next time we can have them along for real instead of just virtually?! It was fun to catch up and 'see' them. We are so fortunate to be overseas now in this age of easy and free instant communications!

We also went to the beach. The waves were pretty big, so the boys had fun running in and out of the water, keeping away from the big waves.

A few cheesey shots - the boys were thrilled to be at the beach!

I love the little dance CJ is doing in this picture. Taunting the waves perhaps? Or maybe just joy at playing in the sea.

This is pretty unusual for the Mediterranean Sea to be so rough, but our oldest was up for the challenge...

while the other two would run out, he would jump into the waves or ride them out.

It was fun to see how strong he was and able to really have fun in the waves.

View along the beach we were at from above.

After a long fun day, we went back to the villa for dinner and to enjoy the beautiful sunset. These were just a few of the lovely flowers in the yard.

We don't have sunsets here in the mountains, so we always really enjoy seeing them when we travel. Truly a lovely ending to a lovely day!

More beach pictures to come...
